Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and navigate winning sales cycles.
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executive and technical audiences.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake throughout the sales cycle, including demos, proof of concepts, design, and implementation.
- Support enterprise proof-of-concept engagements and help close business.
- Maintain deep knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing.
- Perform customer discovery, understand architecture frameworks, and connect business problems to Snowflake data architecture.
- Travel approximately 30%.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- 5+ years building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
- Experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with data lake, data mesh, or data fabric architectures.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to connect customer business problems with technical solutions and conduct deep architecture discovery.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in data science or business administration.
- Experience working with global system integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.
