Senior Solution Engineer, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proofs of concept to design and implementation.
• Support enterprise proofs of concept and help close business.
• Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and navigate winning sales cycles.
• Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
• Travel approximately 30%.

Requirements

• 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
• Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies, including data lakes, data mesh, and data fabric.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions.
• Ability to conduct deep discovery of customer architecture and connect it with Snowflake data architecture.
• Curiosity about the AI landscape and ability to act as a visionary technical thought partner for customers.
• Ability to use AI code-generation tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in data science or business administration.
• Experience working with global systems integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.
