Developer Relations

Creates technically credible content, demos, and educational materials that help developers and teams understand Linear’s AI agent and broader product capabilities. The role requires software fluency, strong product intuition, public communication skills, and end-to-end video production ability.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand Linear’s product, especially its AI agent and newer capabilities, and discover productive, real-world use cases.
  • Create content demonstrating those use cases through social posts, blog posts, video walkthroughs, and live demos.
  • Build relationships with engineering and product-focused creators and collaborate on authentic content.
  • Work with the video team to produce technically deep product content.
  • Partner with support, sales, and product on developer-facing documentation and educational content.
  • Stay current with conversations on X, in newsletters, and at events, and ensure Linear participates in relevant discussions.

Requirements

  • Technical understanding of code and software development.
  • Strong product intuition and the ability to think in workflows and use cases.
  • Comfortable demonstrating products on camera and speaking on stage.
  • Strong knowledge of X/Twitter and credibility with the target audience.
  • Curious, self-directed, and able to identify compelling topics independently.
  • Able to script, record, and edit product walkthroughs or demos end to end.
