About the role
Responsibilities
Define and lead design direction across complex, multi-team product areas, identifying high-leverage opportunities
Partner with product, engineering, data, and leadership to shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and drive alignment
Design and oversee cohesive, end-to-end experiences across systems, ensuring scalability and consistency across marketplace and provider surfaces
Establish and evolve design systems, frameworks, and patterns that enable high-quality, extensible solutions
Elevate quality through hands-on work, critique, and mentorship while connecting execution to broader product vision
Drive efficient delivery of high-impact work, guiding tradeoffs between speed, fidelity, and scalability
Lead integration of AI-native workflows using emerging tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate concept-to-production cycles
Requirements
Proven track record of leading and delivering high-impact product work across complex, multi-team spaces with strong product judgment
Exceptional craft, creativity, and taste that consistently raises the bar
Deep systems thinking with experience designing across journeys and building scalable, reusable frameworks for multi-sided ecosystems
Ability to operate as trusted partner to product, engineering, and leadership in ambiguous environments
Strong balance of speed and quality with track record of shipping at scale
Experience working closely with engineering and leveraging AI-native tools/workflows
History of raising the bar through mentorship, critique, and design leadership
Nice-to-Haves
