Electrical Engineering Intern, High Frequency Power Electronics
Design, prototype, test, and help manufacture compact RF power systems for semiconductor plasma applications. The internship requires hands-on RF systems experience, power amplifier and measurement-sensor design, and demonstrated ability to build complex hardware.

Responsibilities
- Design complete RF power systems from architecture through schematic and layout.
- Ensure accurate RF power diagnostics and metrology.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to gather system requirements.
- Help define firmware requirements.
- Source components and lead manufacturing efforts.
Requirements
- Experience building RF systems.
- Experience designing RF resonant power amplifiers in the hundreds-of-watts range.
- Experience designing RF power measurement sensors.
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience.
- Cable harness design, documentation, and fabrication experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating built systems, such as a medium- to high-complexity personal project or prior internship.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced degree in power electronics or a related field.
- Plasma systems experience.
- Systems engineering and integration experience.
Compensation and benefits
- Hourly internship rate equivalent to an annualized range of $108,000-$126,000, depending on experience and education.
