Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts
- Install, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Linux-based autonomous vehicle systems for customers both on-site and remotely
- Implement and maintain Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools such as Ansible, Docker, and Python-based automation frameworks
- Automate system administration tasks to reduce manual efforts and increase efficiency
- Ensure clear and effective communication with both engineers and customers
- Thoroughly document automation workflows and system configurations to facilitate continuous process improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years Linux administration in production environments
- Strong infrastructure automation experience including Salt, Puppet, or Ansible
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
- Experience automating system provisioning, configuration, and deployment
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
- Ability to support and troubleshoot distributed systems
Nice-to-Haves
- Strong infrastructure automation experience using Ansible
- Experience deploying to embedded or edge systems
- Containerization (Docker)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Network troubleshooting tools (tcpdump, Wireshark)
- Experience with custom Linux distributions
