Responsibilities
- Write and edit across formats: website copy, long-form content, product messaging, and marketing collateral
- Strengthen and evolve Steno's brand voice while maintaining consistency
- Collaborate with product, field, and integrated marketing teams
- Manage own workload, meet deadlines, and flag issues early in a remote async environment
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B/SaaS copywriting experience with a portfolio demonstrating range across website copy, long-form content, product messaging, and marketing collateral
- Hands-on SEO experience — writing for search without sacrificing voice
- Strong editor who can elevate rough drafts or expert knowledge into clean, compelling copy
- Write with confidence and wit; understand how strong writing makes legal industry marketing interesting
- Adapt tone, terminology, and cultural register across contexts without losing brand consistency
- Academic or professional familiarity with the legal industry (litigation, court reporting, or attorney audiences is a significant advantage)
- Collaborate well through feedback and iteration
- Self-directed and organized; manage workload and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Experience working remotely in async environments

- Experience writing for attorneys or legal professionals
- Familiarity with Asana
- Background in conversion or UX copywriting
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $100,000 - $130,000
