Key Responsibilities
CEO Leverage & Executive Operations
- Serve as CEO's strategic right hand across all priorities — owning, not supporting.
- Drive the operating cadence of the CEO office: weekly leadership reviews, board prep, OKR tracking, and cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure the CEO's time and energy are ruthlessly directed at the highest-leverage decisions.
- Represent the CEO at key internal forums, external events, media appearances, and conferences.
Sales & GTM Acceleration
- Partner directly with the CEO to shape and run the global sales organization.
- Lead pipeline reviews, go-to-market planning, and sales velocity analysis.
- Drive revenue team accountability.
Corporate & Business Strategy
- Synthesize customer insights, competitive intelligence, and internal signals into crisp strategic recommendations for the CEO and Board.
- Drive product reviews, roadmap prioritization forums, and cross-functional alignment between EPD and GTM.
- Partner with COO to drive the company's strategic planning process end-to-end: quarterly planning, competitive positioning, market entry, and M&A or partnership evaluation.
Investor Relations & Fundraising
- Own the infrastructure for investor engagement: LP updates, board materials, due diligence coordination, and fundraising logistics.
Organizational Excellence & Internal Functions
- Act as the CEO's proxy in driving key cross-functional initiatives across HR, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
- Partner with functional leaders to move initiatives from strategic discussion to operational execution.
- Help scale Ema as an AI-first, high-performance organization — building the systems and structures.
Special Projects & Zero-to-One Initiatives
- Own high-impact, first-of-their-kind projects at the CEO's direction: new market entry, strategic partnerships, executive hiring.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of total experience, including a meaningful tenure (3–6 years) at a top-tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) at the Engagement Manager / Associate Principal level — you owned workstreams end-to-end.
- Subsequent senior role(s) at a high-growth technology company, with direct ownership of corporate strategy, business strategy, or GTM strategy.
- MBA from a top-tier institution.
- Proven track record in a Founder's Office, Strategy & Ops, or Chief of Staff capacity at a scaling technology company.
- Deep fluency in Sales and GTM: you understand how enterprise deals are won, lost, and accelerated.
- Product mindset with the ability to leverage AI tools — you use AI to build workflows, tools, and automations that eliminate operational drag.
