Drata is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with sales executives, manage technical aspects of sales cycles, and deliver powerful presentations and demos. The role requires 3+ years of experience in a SaaS sales/solutions engineering role.

This role will receive a competitive salary, variable compensation, benefits, and/or stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The applicable range of On-Target Earnings (OTE) for each US-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers based on the cost of labor for that geographic area. The expected OTE ranges for this role are set forth below, subject to change.
Tier 1: $186,600 - $230,500 Tier 2: $168,000 - $207,500 Tier 3: $149,300 - $184,400

Own technical proof and demo motion for enterprise deals. Lead technical discovery, configure and deliver customer demos, answer technical questions, and partner with AEs to close strategic sales.
Sales Engineer driving technical discovery through deal closure, designing POCs and demos, and owning RFPs for a SaaS platform. Requires 3-5 years SE experience, strong API/cloud skills, and proven technical deal-closing ability.
Work alongside Account Executives to own the technical side of the sales cycle, conducting demos and solution validation for cloud infrastructure integrations (AWS, Snowflake, Kubernetes, MongoDB) with customer engineering teams.
Leads technical discovery, designs solution architectures, delivers demos, and builds proofs of value for federal customers in defense and hardware sectors. Partners with sales to advance deals, requiring 5+ years pre-sales experience and fluency in cloud, data tools, and Python/SQL.
