Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape an AI-focused product roadmap.
- Rapidly prototype and productionize AI-driven features, including natural language and multimodal processing and intelligent recommendations.
- Experiment with AI models and techniques, including LLMs, few-shot learning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Serve as an AI evangelist by sharing insights and helping the engineering organization adopt AI practices.
- Own and improve key codebase components, ensuring traditional and AI-powered features are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Develop creative solutions in ambiguous environments and push product capabilities forward.
- Mentor peers and improve team processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS.
- Experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Experience with Python and machine learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience using modern LLM development tools and deploying, monitoring, and experimenting with LLM applications in production.
- Curiosity about AI and a passion for applying emerging tools to real-world products.
- Experience building products from concept through production.
- Ability to work creatively and effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Strong collaboration and mentorship skills.
