Electrical Lead, Capacity Delivery
Lead electrical engineering for high-speed data center builds delivering gigawatts of AI compute capacity. Own reference designs, field decisions, energization, and critical review of studies for utility-to-rack power distribution.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Own electrical engineering across the portfolio: distribution from utility interface to rack, reference design to energization.
- Set and evolve the electrical reference design: switchgear lineups, UPS topology, and busway.
- Make the field electrical calls at build speed and own energization readiness site by site.
- Review consultant studies, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, critically rather than ceremonially.
- Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years.
- Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years.
- Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 50GW+.
Requirements
- Led electrical engineering for data center or heavy industrial builds.
- Review protection and coordination studies and find the errors in them.
- Owned energization sequences with utilities and AHJs.
- Field decisions balance speed and safety without trading either away.
Nice-to-Haves
- PE license.
- MV and HV distribution.
- Behind-the-meter generation.
- Utility interconnection.
