Leads architectural strategy for integrating and migrating Virtua capabilities into the Q4 Platform, connecting technical decisions to business outcomes and mentoring engineering leaders across regions. Responsibilities
- Map company strategic priorities to architectural decisions, anchoring technical debt, migration paths, and platform design in customer value and business outcomes.
- Influence cross-functional teams, product leaders, and stakeholders across North America and India without relying on direct authority.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of the Q4 Platform and Virtua technical stacks.
- Define technical migration and integration strategies, including what to migrate, sunset, or re-architect.
- Represent local capabilities and constraints in architecture reviews while aligning India teams with broader corporate goals.
- Mentor senior developers and tech leads in India and establish strong architectural standards.
- Maintain, optimize, and document architecture processes and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing commercial software products in product-based companies; SaaS or product-environment experience is preferred.
- 3+ years in a dedicated architecture, principal engineer, or high-influence technical leadership role.
- Experience leading through influence across cross-functional partners and multi-region engineering organizations.
- Ability to frame architectural choices around business impact, revenue enablement, and customer outcomes.
- Experience leading multi-system integrations or platform migrations.
- Strong proficiency in the MERN stack and Python or .NET platforms.
- Candidates with other technology stacks, such as Java, are welcome with strong hands-on AWS experience.
- Experience designing microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and API integrations.
- Experience transitioning legacy monoliths to modern cloud-native environments.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts through clear business narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to commute to Pune for a hybrid office experience.
