Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal business partners and stakeholders to facilitate contract negotiations with external vendors and suppliers.
Develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions, and acceptable terms and conditions through contract completion.
Identify benchmarks to measure contractual arrangements, focusing on cost efficiencies, spend drivers, and risk areas.
Design and implement procurement processes and tools with appropriate cross-functional stakeholder review.
Review existing contracts, understand business requirements, and establish standard vendor contract protocols.
Establish a vendor lifecycle strategy covering planning, sourcing, selection, vendor performance data, offboarding, and transitions.
Assist business partners with onboarding new vendors, products, or services through cross-functional third-party approval workflows.
Maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders to identify, understand, and fulfill requirements.
Resolve vendor performance or diligence issues to ensure effective and timely outcomes.
Support ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, preferably in a high-growth technology environment.
Strong communication and project management skills, including the ability to communicate project status, actions, risks, and opportunities.
Bachelor's degree preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques.

Base salary range: $145,000–$180,000.
