Build customer-facing financial products, scalable backend systems, APIs, libraries, and engineering tools while owning features through production. The role requires at least 3 years of software engineering experience, backend programming expertise, database experience, and English fluency.

Responsibilities
- Design and build strong, resilient, and robust APIs, libraries, and tools to power engineers and operations.
- Own functionality and scalability features from inception through deployment.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and production operations.
- Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to codebases, infrastructure, and processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer.
- Experience creating libraries and tools for engineers and operations.
- Experience building and designing scalable backend systems.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with software engineering development cycles.
- Experience with backend programming languages, including Java, Kotlin, or Python.
- Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- English proficiency or fluency, written and spoken; interviews are conducted in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience collaborating with product, design, and operations experts.
- Familiarity with functional programming languages.

Compensation and benefits
- Hybrid work environment based in the São Paulo office.
- Minimum of three coordinated office days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
