Responsibilities
- Independently investigate and resolve bugs, schedule tasks, and investigate code.
- Make well-reasoned technical decisions and take responsibility for them.
- Understand the full technology stack, from networks and user-space code through OS internals and hardware.
- Own the full development lifecycle of components: formalize tasks, write code and tests, set up and support production, and resolve user requests.
- Write flexible, maintainable code and adapt to post-launch requirements.
- Work with large-scale live data, OCaml, and Linux.
Requirements
- Proficiency in OCaml.
- Deep understanding of networks, distributed systems, and operating-system fundamentals.
- Ability to design simple and efficient architectures.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
