About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create, issue, revise, and maintain purchase orders in accordance with approved requisitions, ensuring accurate and timely ERP processing.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain order acknowledgements, confirm pricing and lead times, monitor shipments, expedite critical materials, and resolve delivery risks.
  • Track supplier performance, including quality, on-time delivery, responsiveness, and cost, and support supplier improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain supplier master data, pricing, lead times, and purchasing records; support supplier onboarding and vendor compliance.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory, Quality, Receiving, and Finance to ensure material availability and resolve purchasing, receiving, quality, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Assist with RFQs, supplier research, quote analysis, and supplier selection recommendations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, operations, or administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, satellite, telecommunications, or defense.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  • SQL proficiency or advanced Microsoft Excel competency.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $66,560–$83,200.
  • Employment may be subject to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including ITAR eligibility requirements.
