Leads government and commercial proposal development for Taiwan and the broader Asia/Middle East go-to-market organization, coordinating cross-functional teams from pre-RFP planning through submission. Responsibilities
- Manage competing priorities across proposals and related business development deliverables, including white papers, RFI responses, and ROM pricing estimates.
- Lead end-to-end proposal execution from pre-RFP planning through submission and closeout.
- Drive cross-functional proposal teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions on schedule.
- Lead Taiwan proposal efforts and support the broader Asia/Middle East go-to-market team.
- Coordinate kickoffs, stakeholder collaboration, color reviews, and management reviews with senior leaders and executives.
- Improve proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices.
- Mentor proposal contributors and foster collaborative, high-performing teams.
- Develop briefings and presentations for customer engagements.
- Support customer meetings, demonstrations, and go-to-market events.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of U.S. federal or international government proposal development or business development operations experience; alternatively, 3+ years working with U.S. federal or international government requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with proposal methodologies such as Shipley, compliance matrices, and project management tools and processes.
- Proven professional leadership experience.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical ideas.
- Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in Mandarin and ability to read and write Traditional Chinese.
- Experience managing Foreign Military Sale and Direct Commercial Sale bids and proposals.
- Technical background in unmanned or uncrewed systems and/or autonomy software.
- Knowledge of Taiwan’s defense industry, military operations, or Asia/Middle East defense acquisition processes.
- Understanding of international markets and geopolitical trends in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Active U.S. security clearance.
