Software Engineer In Test
The Software Engineer in Test will define testing strategies and build automated and manual coverage across UI, API, and database layers. The role requires QA automation experience, strong programming and debugging skills, and familiarity with CI/CD, databases, and Linux environments.

Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality, reliability, and performance.
- Define test strategies and lead automation initiatives.
- Design and execute manual and automated tests for UI, API, and database layers.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Write, execute, and optimize test scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Perform API and database validations, analyze logs, debug failures, and report defects clearly.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps for end-to-end quality assurance.
- Identify risks and improve test coverage through strong coding, testing, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent degree.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience developing and designing QA automation frameworks, preferably using Python.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Experience with Python, Perl, shell scripting, Selenium, test automation, software testing, software development, and SDET practices.
- Strong problem analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Experience with databases, preferably MySQL.
- REST/API testing experience.
- Ability to integrate end-to-end tests with CI/CD pipelines and monitor and improve test-coverage metrics.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, agile development environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Performance testing experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and a basic understanding of operating systems.
