Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders as a business and technical thought leader to drive segment strategy and execution.
Recruit, hire, lead, retain, and coach a world-class pre-sales team; advocate for the Solutions Architecture team.
Align with segment leadership to understand trends and share insights with leadership and product teams.
Foster a positive, growth-oriented team culture and motivate Solutions Architects in a fast-paced environment.
Define and drive team success by enabling upsell and cross-sell motions with existing business.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Partners, Product, and Development teams on go-to-market initiatives that improve user outcomes and drive revenue retention and growth.
Build executive relationships, establish credibility with decision-makers, and lead executive briefings and customer engagements.
Champion customer needs internally to influence product direction and feature priorities.
Drive collaboration across teams and support complex evaluations, problem-solving, and challenging customer environments.
Build processes to measure Solutions Architecture team performance and impact.
Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to shape user-engagement strategy.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer business reviews.
Serve as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales technical issues.
Requirements
3+ years of pre-sales leadership experience.
10+ years of experience in a technical sales, consulting, implementation, or go-to-market function.
Track record of building and leading high-performing Solutions Architecture or engineering teams, ideally in SaaS or usage-based businesses.
Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for customer success.
Technical sales experience with APIs and/or payments industry experience.
Strong executive presence and ability to build deep relationships with users.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience.
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
