About the role

What you’ll do

  • Lead our sales strategy and execution for the Beauty and Luxury vertical.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a sales strategy that enables Pinterest to win the market by meeting partner marketing objectives, scaling partner media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with C-level executives across advertisers and agencies.
  • Deliver, track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends to senior leadership as they relate to your team’s client partnerships.
  • Shape the future of our Sales organization by building, training and motivating a high-performing sales team with a strong inclusive culture to support emerging and established clients.
  • Work cross-functionally to build cohesive partnerships with peers and internal stakeholders, including product, sales operations, and marketing.
  • Understand and test various tools & approaches to aid in meeting preparation, performance analysis and ultimately enable prioritize high impact outcomes with velocity.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years experience in Advertising, Digital, and/or Media Sales, with established industry relationships and experience forging strong relationships with marketing leaders & C-suite at the client and agency.
  • 3+ years management experience and a proven track record of managing a world-class sales team, including extensive forecasting experience and achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Deep understanding and established network with Beauty advertisers in Canada.
  • Knowledge of brand and performance advertising (e.g., Search/Shopping/Display/Social/Retail Media Networks/Connected TV (CTV) advertising) and measurement solutions.
  • Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of omni-channel incrementality and how upper- and lower-funnel media work together to drive sales across retailers and channels.
  • Deep experience with Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and Sales Lift studies, including how to brief, interpret, and action results in partnership with client and agency analytics teams.
  • Proven ability to influence and shape a client’s measurement source of truth—e.g., pressure-testing last-click or platform-only views, aligning stakeholders on a unified framework, and using that framework to unlock budget and long-term investment on Pinterest.
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams including product and engineering to synthesize customer needs and feedback.
  • An individual who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is independently capable of seeking information, corralling resources, and delivering results.
  • Growth mindset & open-mindedness to new techniques, skill development and AI-led workflows to drive success at scale across a diverse set of advertisers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Sales Management, or equivalent experience.
