Responsibilities
- Own the design and frontend implementation of the Baseten marketing site.
- Ship landing pages, product pages, launches, and campaigns from concept through production.
- Continuously improve the site through experimentation, iteration, and conversion optimization.
- Partner with growth and product marketing to test messaging, layouts, and conversion improvements while maintaining high craft.
- Build polished interactions, motion, and responsive details.
- Build and evolve reusable components, patterns, and design systems.
- Translate complex technical products into clear, compelling web experiences.
- Prototype ambitious interactive and experimental ideas for launches.
- Make it easier for brand and marketing teams to publish high-quality work.
- Set the standard for web design and frontend craft across the company.
Requirements
- Fluency in modern frontend development with React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Ability to translate Figma designs into production code and own the final result.
- Strong attention to typography, layout, interaction, motion, and responsiveness.
- Systems-oriented approach and experience building reusable components and patterns.
- Comfort experimenting, iterating, and using data to improve website effectiveness.
- Interest in technical products and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong web design opinions and ability to articulate design rationale.
Nice to Have
- Motion design, animation, or WebGL experience.
- Experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, shaders, or creative coding.
- Experience building developer-focused or highly technical websites.
- Experience with DatoCMS.
