Responsibilities
- Develop and execute district sales strategy, leading quarterly and annual revenue target attainment.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and manage performance for Account Executives and the broader sales team.
- Build long-term trusted-advisor relationships with CxO, IT executive, and line-of-business executive stakeholders.
- Improve account planning, deal strategy, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
- Lead strategic and large enterprise opportunities from formation and closing through expansion and account growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering, professional services, marketing, and partners to maximize customer outcomes.
- Apply market, competitive, and customer insights to Snowflake positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop future leaders and contribute to organizational scale and sustained growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in SaaS or enterprise software.
- 3+ years of sales management experience, including organizational leadership, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Track record leading account planning, deal progression, and closing for large enterprise opportunities.
- Ability to understand customer challenges and communicate solution value and expected outcomes.
- Experience managing sales organizations through forecasting, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy reviews.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executives directly and build long-term relationships.
- Leadership ability to align internal and external stakeholders and deliver results at scale and speed.
- One-team mindset and ability to work effectively across departments.
- Fluency in Japanese and comfort conducting business in English.
- Experience selling to complex enterprise customers.
- Strong interest in data, cloud, and AI, with a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly changing market.
- Strength in forming strategic opportunities with customers, internal teams, and partners.
