Senior Software Engineer - IAM Team
Build and lead full-stack applications and microservices for identity, account management, and customer support workflows. The role requires 6+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript and Node.js expertise, cloud experience, and the ability to modernize legacy Java services.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and robust web applications for complex account and user management flows.
- Lead migration of legacy TypeScript/JavaScript hybrid services and Java monolith modules to modern, highly available Node.js/TypeScript microservices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote knowledge sharing and code quality.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code; troubleshoot production issues and optimize applications for high availability.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, analytics teams, engineering managers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Establish standards for unit, integration, and functional testing and lead design and code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer building production-scale products.
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building microservices and REST or GraphQL APIs with Node.js.
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Ability to navigate and migrate legacy Java backend modules.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, object-oriented programming, dependency injection, and IoC containers.
- Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of Scrum/Agile, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Serverless architecture, including Lambdas and Fargate.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Open-source contributions or a strong GitHub profile.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, and MCPs into engineering workflows.
- Experience with IAM, B2B account hierarchies, or user management.
