Senior Software Engineer, Platform/Backend
Build and lead the evolution of SentiLink’s secure, scalable API platform and identity decisioning products. The role requires 6+ years of software development experience, strong Python or Golang skills, and familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS.

Responsibilities
- Own a large section of the codebase.
- Lead technical direction, provide guidance, and align implementation with project goals and industry best practices.
- Design and build API-based decisioning products.
- Code, test, debug, document, and maintain products and platform using established standards and methodologies.
- Partner with product management to deliver new and existing products through agile processes.
- Write unit, dependency, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve product issues.
- Ensure platforms and services meet SLA requirements and participate in the production on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products.
- Experience building API-based products with Python, Golang, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, and writing efficient queries.
- Familiarity with Docker and AWS technologies.
- Familiarity with fintech or financial services.
- Experience working in a Scrum or agile development environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and live in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits
- $170,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.
