About the role

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Management

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with workforce organizations and strategic partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Global Affairs Certifications partnerships
  • Support partnership design, implementation, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Coordinate with partners to establish goals, success metrics, and reporting structures

Program Strategy & Execution

  • Support the launch and execution of workforce initiatives focused on AI literacy, upskilling, and economic opportunity
  • Collaborate with Academy, Certifications, GTM, and Product teams to align programs and resources
  • Develop playbooks and implementation guidance for workforce partners
  • Monitor outcomes and synthesize learnings to inform future programming

External Engagement

  • Represent OpenAI at conferences, workshops, and partner meetings
  • Facilitate trainings, roundtables, and stakeholder discussions
  • Help identify emerging workforce trends and opportunities for impact
  • Contribute to briefing materials, presentations, and thought leadership content

Requirements

  • Experience managing partnerships and programs within workforce development, education, nonprofit, or public-sector environments
  • Strong relationship-management and stakeholder-engagement skills
  • Experience executing multi-stakeholder initiatives from concept through implementation
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • Passion for expanding access to opportunity through technology and education
  • Interest in AI literacy, workforce transformation, and the future of work
  • Experience working with workforce boards, community colleges, labor organizations, or economic development entities
  • Familiarity with credentialing, certifications, or adult learning programs
  • Experience navigating public-private partnerships
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
