About the role

Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers to understand requirements and design implementation strategies for identity verification solutions.
  • Guide customers through API integrations and support successful deployment of Baselayer products.
  • Create technical documentation and implementation plans tailored to customer needs.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations of Baselayer's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams.
  • Develop implementation guides and solution architectures for customer scenarios.
  • Train customers on Baselayer products and APIs.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback to product and engineering teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in identity verification.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance after implementation to support customer success.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical role, product management, or customer-facing position.
  • Fundamental knowledge of API concepts and web technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document requirements effectively.
  • Problem-solving ability and comfort addressing complex challenges.
  • Adaptability and confidence navigating ambiguity.
  • Strong collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in solutions engineering, implementation, or technical customer success.
  • Basic coding skills in Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with identity verification, KYC/KYB processes, or financial compliance.
  • Experience with fintech or financial institutions.
  • Experience leading technical discovery calls, product demonstrations, or implementation workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $135,000–$220,000 plus equity.
