Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable systems that support merchant-facing products and services
- Develop features that enhance the merchant experience and drive engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product integrations
- Own core platform and identify, prioritize, and execute on infrastructure opportunities to accelerate product development and maintain high reliability
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and operating production backend or platform systems
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science (or related field)
- Strong technical fundamentals and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Experience building and operating asynchronous systems or data pipelines in production environments
- Comfortable owning and driving development of both product and platform initiatives from scratch
- Ability to identify commonalities between different problem statements and design appropriate abstractions
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working on a small team and helping set company foundations
