Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers and engineers to establish product requirements, roadmaps, and user experiences.
- Run workshops and collaborate with product management to identify strategic product-investment opportunities aligned with key objectives.
- Partner with UX Research to conduct user and usability testing throughout the product lifecycle.
- Apply human-centered design, psychological insights, data, and user research to guide design decisions.
- Champion user needs and incorporate empathy and user insights into team interactions.
- Own projects end to end, incorporating feedback from peers, stakeholders, and customers.
- Create customer experiences from concept through engineering-ready deliverables.
- Collaborate with designers to develop and refine the design system.
- Help shape the platform’s long-term vision and user experience.
- Establish and track customer-experience metrics for projects.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in UX or product design.
- Proven customer and business outcomes from design work.
- Proficiency with Figma and other prototyping software.
- Experience designing for web, mobile web, and native apps.
- Ability to consolidate stakeholder perspectives and align objectives.
- Strong collaborative and critical-thinking skills.
- Data-driven approach using business, product, and UX metrics.
- Knowledge of UX research methodologies and ability to partner with UX Research teams.
- Advocacy for lean design processes.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation-management skills.
- Commitment to polished, high-quality work.
- Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, user experience design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proactive identification of opportunities and solutions.
