Senior Manager, Demand Planning and Market Economics

Responsibilities
- Size the total addressable market for AI compute, including buyers, compute consumption, market trends, and whether data center and power supply can support demand.
- Build and maintain long-term forecasts for AI compute and power-capacity demand using market dynamics, product mix, signed contracts, and renewal/churn assumptions.
- Track changes in customer-segment mix and assess implications for the business.
- Recommend the mix of colocation, fully owned builds, and Spark modular deployments for different segments and demand profiles.
- Feed deployment recommendations into capital-allocation and investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain pricing forecast models using demand volatility, ramp timing, and supply-chain constraints; monitor forecast accuracy and explain variances.
- Build portfolio-level financial cases for build-ahead versus build-to-order decisions.
- Prepare market, deployment, and scaling analyses for the CFO, Board, and executive audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply or capacity planning, or quantitative finance; experience in cloud infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, or another capital-intensive, forecast-driven business is preferred.
- Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to develop credible market views using incomplete data.
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods, including time series, regression, and scenario modeling.
- Experience combining external market and competitive intelligence with internal deal-level data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience turning quantitative analysis into narratives that influence senior decision-makers.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
