Client Implementation Specialist

Own client onboarding and software deployments from planning through go-live, including extensive travel, stakeholder management, device setup, training, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong organization, autonomy, communication, and client-facing technical support skills.

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients by communicating what Sage is, how it works, and why it is different.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous implementation projects, each with its own timeline, stakeholders, and community-specific needs.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at each community and identify engaged users who can become Sage advocates.
  • Lead in-person and remote staff and management training, both in groups and one-on-one, for varied technical comfort levels.
  • Coordinate device distribution and setup at each community, confirming that all devices work properly before go-live.
  • Support technical teammates in setting up and quality-assuring key infrastructure.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Sage users and clients.
  • Test and troubleshoot new features ahead of community rollouts.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to travel an average of 15 days per month within the Monday–Friday workweek across the continental United States.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent projects on different timelines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive projects from start to finish without close oversight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust quickly with clients and staff and read a room.
  • Experience training and presenting to groups and individuals, ideally for audiences with mixed technical comfort levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical ability to troubleshoot consumer electronics and software issues for non-technical users.
  • Resourcefulness, patience, and follow-through in finding the root cause of problems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior customer support experience in a technology environment.
  • Experience in healthcare or health technology.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected annual salary: $90,000–$110,000, depending on job level, expertise, experience, and qualifications.
