About the role
Responsibilities
Lead the roadmap and delivery across Webflow's agent surfaces: the Webflow AI Assistant, MCP, Agent Instructions, and the AI platform that powers prompt-based agent experiences. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and Data teams.
Ensure components work cohesively by sequencing work and building shared primitives that serve both 1st-party and 3rd-party agents.
Define quality standards for non-deterministic agent experiences, including evals, guardrails, and metrics.
Balance developer-grade surfaces (MCP, APIs) with approachable assistants for visual, less-technical creators.
Contribute to agent product strategy, prioritization, tradeoffs, and execution.
Prototype ideas, ship small improvements directly (including code contributions), and stay close to implementation for informed product decisions.
Place durable bets on evolving AI models, protocols, and techniques by staying close to customers and adapting quickly.
Requirements
BS / BA college degree or relevant experience.
5+ years of product management experience with real depth in AI-powered systems, platforms, APIs, and extensibility.
Hands-on experience with AI agent systems, code generation, or programmable interfaces; deep knowledge of where LLM-based tools excel and where they fail.
Experience building AI or similar products and defining evals, guardrails, and success metrics for non-deterministic outputs.
Proven ability to serve both developer audiences and less-technical creators without shortchanging either.
Curiosity about all aspects of product building; willingness to prototype, write queries, conduct user interviews, open PRs, or write briefs as needed.
Ability to shape direction collaboratively and execute independently in a player-coach environment.
Curiosity and fluency in emerging AI technologies.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with platforms that support extensibility for third-party agents.
