What you'll do
- Own the outcomes for the Consumer Digital Banking team, adapting strategy and roadmap as needed.
- Set the vision for Consumer Digital Banking, write the strategic narrative, and ensure roadmap decisions align with it.
- Regularly visit banks and credit unions (10% travel), present vision, gather feedback, and refine ideas.
- Manage stakeholders across the company, building trust and involving them in key decisions early.
- Drive prioritization, make trade-offs, advocate for resources, and keep leadership updated on progress.
- Shape company strategy by developing deep expertise in consumer digital banking, fintech, bank tech, and community banking.
- Partner with engineering, design, and QA to ship high-quality products.
- Identify and fix inefficiencies in how features are specified and shipped.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on launch strategies and GTM materials.
- Incorporate customer voice through research and data into all decisions.
- Build and grow a team of product managers: hire, coach, and develop team members.
What you'll bring
- 10+ years in product management, with at least 4 years in digital banking, fintech, or payments.
- Track record of shipping consumer financial products that users enjoy.
- Strong UX sensibility and discipline to conduct real user research.
- Fluency with data to guide UX strategy and measure impact.
- Comfort being customer-facing: presenting to external audiences, leading discovery sessions.
- Willingness to travel regularly to visit bank and credit union clients.
- Experience balancing technical realities with customer needs.
- Track record of leading product managers or clear potential to grow into leadership.
Compensation
Expected annual base salary: $200,000-$240,000. In addition to base salary, receive equity option grant and eligible for performance-based cash and equity bonuses. Compensation commensurate with skills, experience, and location. Full benefits package.
