Responsibilities

  • Scale and operate payments infrastructure for card programs, managing external partners (processors, issuing banks, networks).
  • Drive initiatives like processor integrations, program launches, and process improvements.
  • Automate card lifecycle workflows end-to-end, partnering with Engineering.
  • Analyze tickets to uncover root causes and drive fixes.
  • Operationalize network mandates, build intake/tracking processes.
  • Support BPO and back-office operations strategy with SOPs, training, audits.
  • Build AI-powered automation for exception handling, reconciliation, monitoring.
  • Build internal ops dashboards for card production, exceptions, inventory, processor health.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in payment or card operations (issuer, processor, or fintech).
  • Experience with card processors, reconciliation, network file formats (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
  • Strong SQL and using data to diagnose issues/validate solutions.
  • Experience building/improving operational tooling and automation.
  • Knowledge of network mandates, BINs, card lifecycle operations.
  • Clear communicator across teams; comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; fintech experience a plus.

Compensation

$150,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
