Responsibilities
- Scale and operate payments infrastructure for card programs, managing external partners (processors, issuing banks, networks).
- Drive initiatives like processor integrations, program launches, and process improvements.
- Automate card lifecycle workflows end-to-end, partnering with Engineering.
- Analyze tickets to uncover root causes and drive fixes.
- Operationalize network mandates, build intake/tracking processes.
- Support BPO and back-office operations strategy with SOPs, training, audits.
- Build AI-powered automation for exception handling, reconciliation, monitoring.
- Build internal ops dashboards for card production, exceptions, inventory, processor health.
Requirements
- 5+ years in payment or card operations (issuer, processor, or fintech).
- Experience with card processors, reconciliation, network file formats (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
- Strong SQL and using data to diagnose issues/validate solutions.
- Experience building/improving operational tooling and automation.
- Knowledge of network mandates, BINs, card lifecycle operations.
- Clear communicator across teams; comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; fintech experience a plus.
Compensation
$150,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
