Responsibilities
- Execute purchasing across assigned categories: POs cut same-day, confirmations chased, and deliveries landed on schedule.
- Own the order book: statuses current, exceptions escalated, and no silent slips.
- Work vendor issues to ground: shortages, substitutions, and expedites, with the schedule impact quantified.
- Keep the data clean in the ERP so planning and finance run on truth.
Requirements
- Been a buyer in a fast-moving supply chain and carried a heavy PO load without drops.
- Chase confirmations like the schedule depends on it, because it does.
- Expedited critical parts through constrained suppliers.
- ERP hygiene is a habit: right dates, right prices, right quantities.
- Escalate with the facts assembled and a recommendation attached.
