Child Safety Enforcement Specialist

Leads child safety investigations, enforcement decisions, mandatory-reporting workflows, and process improvements involving sensitive content and abuse signals. The role requires Trust & Safety investigation experience, sound judgment, strong documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Review and investigate child safety content and behavior, including CSAM and grooming signals, applying policy consistently and documenting evidence and rationale.
  • Lead defined high-risk escalations end to end; anticipate blockers, communicate progress, and make or recommend enforcement decisions within policy and escalation boundaries.
  • Identify potential mandatory-reporting cases and prepare accurate, timely NCMEC CyberTip reports through approved legal and operational review flows.
  • Analyze case and detection data to identify patterns, quality gaps, and emerging abuse trends.
  • Propose data-informed improvements to investigative workflows and tooling.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Policy, Product, Engineering, and operations partners to implement mitigations, resolve dependencies, and communicate findings and outcomes.
  • Perform significant review of sensitive content and analysis of user behavior.

Requirements

  • Experience investigating child safety abuse or comparable Trust & Safety issues.
  • Sound judgment in sensitive content review and enforcement.
  • Ability to independently own investigative projects and deliver clearly documented outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of NCMEC CyberTip reporting workflows.
  • Ability to appropriately escalate legal or policy uncertainty.
  • Ability to identify patterns in case or detection data and recommend practical mitigations.
  • Ability to communicate progress and findings to cross-functional partners.
  • Comfort using investigative tools and data.
