Responsibilities
- Plan and execute large-group projects from ideation through production.
- Align engineering, product, and other disciplines around shared goals.
- Mentor a distributed team of engineers in subject matter expertise.
- Identify opportunities and gaps in existing models and strategize areas of focus.
- Work closely with product teams to develop solutions.
- Collaborate with partner organizations.
- Assist legal teams with preparing patents for developed intellectual property.
Requirements
- Experience leading machine learning teams in applied research and production.
- Experience setting and executing technical direction to build new products or refine existing ones.
- Experience working cross-discipline in matrixed organizations.
- Proficiency in Python and related machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR.
- Experience with large-scale distributed training and inference.
- Strong mentorship, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated passion for applied machine learning models and products.
