Senior Product Manager - Content
Leads Offroad’s content and data strategy, connecting customer research, geospatial and land-management data, partnerships, and contributor content to the product roadmap. The role requires 8+ years leading software products or platforms, product management experience, data/content strategy expertise, and people leadership.

Responsibilities
- Own Offroad’s content and data strategy, translating customer jobs-to-be-done and market research into priorities for trails, points of interest, user-generated conditions, land data, basemaps, and emerging content layers.
- Research, evaluate, and prioritize third-party data sources.
- Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Content to define data models, schemas, user experience requirements, and the content roadmap.
- Champion the end-to-end customer experience for trail, point-of-interest, and land content.
- Measure and analyze content’s impact on customer behavior, conversion, and return on investment.
- Build relationships with land management agencies and data providers, interpret regulations, and negotiate licensing and acquisition agreements.
- Manage the Trail Guide Program through a direct report, setting direction and goals while the program owner handles day-to-day execution.
- Represent the content and data roadmap, priorities, and risks to product and cross-functional leadership.
- Incorporate market trends, customer feedback, and research into evolving content and data priorities.
- Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence as a repeatable copilot in daily workflows, with appropriate experimentation, validation, and judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Business, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Eight or more years of experience leading software products or platforms, including at least four years of product management and three years in content strategy, data management, or program management.
- Experience translating customer needs into content or data-model requirements with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
- Experience focusing on end-user experience and jobs-to-be-done beyond backend data models.
- Credible ties to the off-road, overlanding, or powersports community.
- Comfort with technical conversations about data models and schemas as well as relationship-driven conversations with partners and contributor communities.
- People-leadership experience or a record of directing work without direct authority.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
- Ability to travel quarterly for multiple days to a corporate office or strategic location.
- Permanent US work authorization.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with land management agencies or licensing third-party geospatial data.
- Experience managing external partnerships or data relationships with government agencies, land managers, or data vendors.
- Experience scaling contributor, community, or ambassador programs.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems platforms, geospatial data pipelines, or knowledge graph and data model concepts.
