Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve the documentation site's infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and publishing workflows.
- Support Builder Experience teams with structured authoring platforms and automation, helping technical writers stay unblocked.
- Provide cross-regional support to Builder Experience teams.
- Collaborate with DocTool Leads to improve the user experience of documentation sites, content structure, and versioning for multiple products and global audiences.
- Implement frontend improvements to the user experience, appearance, and functionality of help.okta.com and developer.okta.com.
Requirements
- 4+ years of development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- Experience with OpenAPI and JAMstack architecture.
- Experience with DITA, Redocly, VuePress, or a similar documentation framework.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, CircleCI, Vercel, and Artifactory.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for coding, workflow automation, and tooling enhancements.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative approach and experience working in an agile environment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with technical writers and documentation processes.
- Localization experience.
