Responsibilities
- Participate in customer sales meetings, explain Runpod technologies, provide architectural recommendations, and build proof-of-concept solutions for onboarding high-spending customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues involving configuration, performance, functionality, compatibility, and code errors.
- Use code analysis, testing scripts, log analysis, and remote access to identify root causes and provide solutions or workarounds.
- Collaborate with customers and engineering, sales, supply, product management, support, and infrastructure teams.
- Resolve escalated technical support tickets and help address GPU server issues.
- Relay customer feedback to engineering and contribute to product development, testing, and improvements.
- Create technical documentation, FAQs, guides, and manuals; deliver training sessions, webinars, and demos.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Familiarity with applied AI use cases, including inference, fine-tuning, LLM-based applications, or agentic systems.
- Located in US in the PST region.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, Django, Flask, PyTorch, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Go.
- Full-stack development experience.
- Knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, server hardware, network operations, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, and DNS.
- Experience deploying and managing AI/ML models as services or APIs, including model training, inference, and deployment.
- Ability to write and execute scripts, queries, and commands and interpret code, logs, errors, and traces.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $100,000–$180,000 USD, with the final range determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
