Integration Solutions Engineer
Design, build, and support customer integrations across ERP, banking, and API systems while translating accounting workflows into scalable technical solutions. The role requires hands-on API and iPaaS experience, customer communication, and at least three years of technical solution development.

Responsibilities
- Design and build integrations between Vividly and customer ERPs, banks, APIs, and other systems using Workato and other integration technologies.
- Translate approved business and accounting workflows into scalable technical integration designs.
- Lead technical discovery around ERP capabilities, APIs, authentication, data availability, system constraints, and integration feasibility.
- Consult with customers on technical architecture, data flows, system capabilities, and integration best practices.
- Define data mappings, transformations, integration logic, and synchronization cadence.
- Own the technical integration workstream from design and connection through testing, customer UAT, deployment, and handoff.
- Build technical documentation and solution blueprints covering requirements, mappings, dependencies, and integration behavior.
- Support live integrations, troubleshoot transaction failures, respond to ERP/API changes, and identify root causes and scalable fixes.
- Partner on architecture standards, reusable integration patterns, internal automation, and onboarding improvements.
- Identify product and API gaps and partner with Product and Engineering to improve integration capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance on complex ERP and integration edge cases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing or developing technical solutions for client adoption.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including authentication, requests and responses, pagination, error handling, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of relational databases, data models, and data transformation.
- Experience with JSON, API payloads, field mappings, and transformation logic.
- Understanding of scheduled polling, webhooks, retry and error handling, data integrity, and monitoring.
- Experience integrating ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working directly with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend solutions.
- Experience with an iPaaS platform such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, or Tray.io, or experience building software integrations directly.
- Strong communication, prioritization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude for development and documentation.
- Experience with accounting or financial workflows.
- Familiarity with Cash Application, Deduction Management, Trade Promotion Management, or CPG accounting.
- Experience standardizing one-off solutions into reusable patterns and scalable frameworks.
- Experience in a scrappy startup environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year.
