Business Systems Engineer
Build and maintain Anaplan models, business intelligence dashboards, and data integrations supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business requirements. Responsibilities
- Generate and customize reports summarizing business and financial data.
- Maintain and update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, and systems used to capture, analyze, and estimate customer business requirements.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Anaplan models according to design specifications and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into functional model components and maintain data integrations between Anaplan and source systems.
- Design FP&A use cases, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop automation routines and data integrations to streamline FP&A processes.
- Create user-friendly business intelligence dashboards and reports.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Provide end-user support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in the job offered, Engineering, or a related occupation.
- 3+ years of experience with business intelligence and process flows for custom solutions using Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including Finance, SCM, BICC, and OTBI reporting.
- 3+ years of experience with Anaplan or similar enterprise performance management platforms for modeling, planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience translating unstructured business problems into defined requirements using planning and project management techniques.
- Experience transforming data and automating processes with Python or a similar scripting language.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $143,000–$177,000 per year for the San Francisco area.
