Build and lead full-stack, AI-powered software for government services using the Palantir stack and modern web technologies. The role requires 5+ years of engineering experience, active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to work hybrid from New York City or Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
- Architect and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from technical design through production.
- Build and integrate with Palantir Foundry ontologies and pipelines, AIP agents, and Maven Smart System workflows.
- Develop AI-powered product surfaces, including intelligent intake flows, constituent assistants, automated case routing, and agency dashboards.
- Work within classification and data-handling constraints.
- Set technical direction, establish code-quality patterns, and mentor engineers.
- Translate government-agency requirements into shippable products.
- Own platform reliability and performance at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience owning complex features and systems.
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- United States citizenship.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or Maven Smart System.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity and maintain an end-user focus.
- Experience building and standing behind a real product, open-source project, or system.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience shipping software in classified or accredited environments.
- Forward Deployed Engineer experience or Palantir integration experience.
- Federal, state, or local government technology experience.
- Experience in regulated or high-stakes environments.
- Cloud deployment experience with AWS, Vercel, GitHub Actions, ECS, or Fargate.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Technical leadership experience in an early-stage environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- ATS-listed salary range: $220,000–$280,000.
