Responsibilities
- Lead deep analyses of product usage and advisor behavior to shape product features and roadmap prioritization.
- Own the product data lifecycle, from instrumentation and event definitions through actionable insights, partnering with data engineering.
- Design and analyze experiments across core product surfaces and define company best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to develop roadmaps, launch features, and measure success.
- Build predictive models to forecast user behavior and deliver personalized product experiences.
- Mentor peers and establish data-team processes, tools, and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product data science, product analytics, or consumer analytics; consumer or marketplace experience preferred.
- Experience designing and analyzing product experiments, including causal inference techniques.
- Experience building predictive models and applying machine learning techniques.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language preferred.
- Hands-on experience with a modern cloud data stack and data modeling best practices.
- Experience using LLM tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenAI Codex for analysis and prototyping.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Curiosity, pragmatism, and a focus on real-world business impact.
- Collaborative and empathetic mindset, including experience mentoring and supporting peers.

Compensation and Benefits
- Indicative compensation range: $130,000–$185,000 plus equity; final compensation depends on hiring level and experience.
