Industrial Designer
Lead industrial design for hardware products used by autonomous systems engineers. Create concepts, physical prototypes, and production-ready designs with strong focus on human factors and technical constraints.

Responsibilities
- Develop design themes for hardware concepts from sketch, prototype, to production
- Build and iterate physical prototypes to inform product architecture with human factors in mind
- Work quickly to ship new features in 5 week release cycles
- Create and communicate design intent through sketches, CAD, prototypes, CMF strategy and design documentation
- Collaborate closely with PM, Eng, and BD for highly technical and complex engineering challenges
Requirements
- 6+ years of Industrial design experience
- Prototyped and developed hardware for software in fast-paced, technical environments
- Keen sense of human factors
- Ability to take complex engineering constraints and make user-friendly and intuitive designs
- Strong ability to hit the ground running with incomplete feature scopes and fragmented information
- Bachelors in Human-Computer Interaction, or related design field

- Prior startup experience
- Prior Robotics, Drone, or related experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000 - $200,000 USD annually
