Senior Backend Engineer - Infrastructure
Build and scale ClickPipes’ backend infrastructure and real-time data onboarding platform across cloud providers. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience, strong Go, Kubernetes, Terraform, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture expertise.

Responsibilities
- Enhance and scale a high-performance data onboarding platform handling increasing real-time data volumes.
- Own and evolve infrastructure across AWS, with planned expansion to Google Cloud and Azure.
- Improve deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions affecting platform scalability and resilience.
- Participate in on-call rotations, maintain system reliability, and respond to production incidents.
- Continuously improve systems using operational metrics, customer feedback, and business requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience building backend systems.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, cloud services, and platform reliability.
- Experience with Go, Kubernetes, Terraform or a comparable infrastructure-as-code tool.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and at least one major cloud service provider.
- Strong production debugging and complex problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently with substantial ownership and autonomy.
