Founding design engineer who will establish the product’s visual language and ship production UI end to end. Requires 3+ years of product design experience, Figma fluency, and strong TypeScript/frontend engineering skills.

Responsibilities
- Design and build product surfaces end to end, from Figma prototypes to production-ready UI.
- Build and own the in-code design system, including components, tokens, and frontend architecture.
- Use Claude Code and TypeScript to prototype and ship production-ready UI.
- Partner with founders on product direction and contribute design perspective to early strategy.
- Move quickly while maintaining a high quality standard.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product design experience.
- Fluency with Figma, including components, variables, auto-layout, and prototyping.
- Working proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong programming skills and UI/UX design experience.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Based in San Francisco or able to work there full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year.
