Responsibilities
- Define product strategy for Intelligence, Reporting, and innovative AI product areas and contribute to SpotOn’s overall product strategy.
- Use metrics and customer data to guide product decisions and achieve company and customer goals.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers.
- Lead market opportunity analysis, roadmap development, and strategic adjustments based on customer needs, data, and business priorities.
- Develop forward-looking product vision and design, particularly around AI-enabled products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Product Management, Sales, and Support to understand, rationalize, and prioritize requests for new functionality.
- Assess market competition, customer preferences, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Engage directly with customers, including potentially working shifts at customer restaurants or bars, to understand their needs and product interactions.
- Present to audiences ranging from small and midsize business customers to investors and executives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant product management experience or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience managing and coaching Product Managers.
- Fluency with AI tools such as Claude, Vercel, or similar.
- Experience working in metrics-driven environments and using data to make informed decisions.
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience designing and delivering quality products.
- Ability to manage multiple projects through an iterative process.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience making decisions with imperfect information and managing teams through ambiguity and complexity.

Compensation and benefits
- Base pay: $275,000–$320,000.
- Equity package determined based on candidate seniority.
