Responsibilities

  • Own Daily Active Users (DAUs) and revenue, delivering both against forecast.
  • Manage pillar leads overseeing Growth and Monetization, an organization of approximately 20 product managers.
  • Coach and develop senior product leaders and raise the bar for product talent.
  • Lead through organizational change, including reorganizations, new operating models, and faster execution.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to make tradeoffs and ship quickly.
  • Establish product operating mechanisms, including north star metrics, planning and review rituals, and rigorous A/B testing.
  • Allocate resources across Growth and Monetization, balancing continuous optimization with larger strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Growth and Monetization at the executive level, communicating progress, risks, and plans.

Requirements

  • Executive product leadership experience in consumer technology.
  • Multi-year, measurable impact on DAUs or revenue at scale.
  • Strong judgment and operational rigor, with a record of meeting forecasts while protecting user experience.
  • Experience managing managers of managers and developing strong product leaders.
  • Experience leading organizational change.
  • Ability to align Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing around clear priorities.
  • Deep expertise in growth and monetization for freemium and subscription products.
  • Strong experimentation background.
  • Ability to work from or relocate to New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA on a hybrid 4+1 schedule.

  • Results growing a leading consumer application through DAU or revenue growth.
  • Success balancing user growth and revenue expansion without degrading user experience.
  • Experience presenting product strategy and results to executive and board-level audiences.
  • Experience developing product leaders who later led product organizations.
  • Familiarity with advertising, subscriptions, and in-app purchase ecosystems, including experimentation at scale.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $367,500–$612,500 USD annually.
  • Equity compensation supplements the base salary.
