Advisor, IT Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cloud solutions primarily in Microsoft Azure.
• Develop cloud adoption, migration, and modernization strategies.
• Architect highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments.
• Manage Azure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks, load balancers, application gateways, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Key Vault.
• Establish cloud governance, security, and cost optimization frameworks.
• Ensure cloud environments comply with organizational security and regulatory requirements.
• Lead administration and governance of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune.
• Design and implement collaboration, retention, compliance, and data protection policies.
• Support tenant-level administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Drive Microsoft 365 security and compliance initiatives.
• Architect and manage enterprise identity solutions.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments.
• Implement single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, conditional access, privileged identity management, and role-based access control.
• Develop and maintain identity lifecycle management processes.
• Integrate identity solutions with HR, business, and SaaS platforms.
• Manage federation technologies using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
• Partner with Security Operations and Governance teams.
• Implement enterprise security controls, including conditional access, data loss prevention, endpoint security, device compliance, and threat protection.
• Conduct infrastructure risk assessments and support security audits and compliance reviews.
• Design and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, Azure Automation, Power Platform, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks.
• Develop integrations between cloud services, SaaS platforms, and internal applications.
• Create reusable infrastructure standards and automation frameworks.
• Support enterprise integration platforms and secure connectivity solutions, including SFTP platforms, API gateways, secure file transfer solutions, hybrid networking, DNS services, and VPN solutions.
• Integrate business applications through REST APIs and automation workflows.
• Ensure reliable and secure data exchange between internal and external systems.
• Administer Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Configure device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, endpoint security policies, and certificate management.
• Support modern workplace initiatives, including passwordless authentication.

Requirements

• Strong experience managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience leading infrastructure modernization projects.
• Experience with enterprise identity and access management solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud administration and architecture experience.
