Senior product engineer responsible for building polished, end-to-end web applications, backend services, and generative-model workflows. The role combines full-stack delivery, product partnership, technical leadership, and ownership of production quality, requiring 6+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities
- Partner with product leadership on architectural decisions, sprint planning, and technical execution.
- Ship user-facing applications and developer tooling end-to-end, including frontend, backend, and workflow design.
- Design and build workflows around generative models, including chained and parallel generation calls, long-running asynchronous operations, streaming results, caching, retries, and graceful degradation.
- Own product quality across correctness, performance, polish, and maintainability; review others’ work to the same standard.
- Work directly with users and design partners, instrument shipped features, monitor usage, and iterate quickly.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with a record of end-to-end ownership; 8+ years for Staff-level candidates.
- Experience shipping user-facing products and owning their production quality.
- Strong proficiency with modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React, plus backend services and web architecture.
- Experience with interactive and real-time applications and performance considerations.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development workflows and the ability to verify, correct, and own shipped work.
- Experience building products using asynchronous, long-latency, or streaming APIs.
- Product-minded approach to understanding user needs, validating ideas, and iterating based on evidence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong computer science fundamentals.
Nice-to-haves
- 3D graphics programming and shader development, particularly WebGL and Three.js.
- Applications built around generative image, video, or 3D AI models.
- Open-source contributions in graphics or machine learning.
- Experience in VFX, gaming, 3D design, or other high-fidelity visual-output industries.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $250,000–$325,000.
